• Appearance

  Colorless, transparent, oily liquid with a slight petroleum odor.

• Solubility

  Almost insoluble in water, but completely miscible with ethanol, ether, acetone, esters, and aromatic hydrocarbons.

• Safety features

  Contains no benzene rings, low toxicity and low aromatic hydrocarbons, environmentally friendly solvent; flash point -4℃, highly flammable, vapors can easily form explosive mixtures.

• Chemical stability

  Saturated cycloalkanes are stable at room temperature and are not easily oxidized or polymerized; they must not be stored or used together with strong oxidizing agents (hydrogen peroxide, potassium permanganate, chlorate).
