Update on Rising International Oil Prices

September 15: International oil prices rose amid heightened risks to Saudi crude supplies and the ongoing stalemate in U.S.-Iran relations. NYMEX WTI crude futures (October contract) rose $4.44/bbl to $105.83 (+4.38%), while ICE Brent crude futures (November contract) climbed $3.07/bbl to $108.75 (+2.90%). China’s INE crude oil futures (contract 2611) rose 59.7 yuan to 836.2 yuan/bbl, with the night session seeing a further increase of 23.8 yuan to 860 yuan/bbl.
